Please note: This list is a work-in-progress. We will be updating it continuously, as farmers get in touch with us to share their offerings at this time. If you would like your farm to be added to this list, please email our editor, Meghan Harlow, at email@example.com.
The shelves at our largest local supermarkets are empty—but local farmers are still here. Here’s where you can find fresh produce (and so much more) during the coronavirus outbreak on the East End.
Sang Lee Farms
Sang Lee Farms is offering home delivery—across Long Island and throughout the city—of their organic produce, prepared items (like soups, dips, baked goods, and more), Mecox Dairy meats, local eggs, and more. Their farmstand is also open on Fridays and Saturdays. For more information, please visit their website.
Balsam Farms is offering home delivery—from Southampton to East Hampton—of their produce, prepared items, local ready-to-eat pantry items, and more. Their farmstand and Montauk market remain open, as well. For more information, please visit their website.
Thanks to chef Jeremy Blutstein for sharing so many of the tips above.
