This Valentine’s Day, take advantage of two of the best things the East End has to offer: fine wine and chocolate. Our local wineries are ready to play Cupid, hosting delicious and decadent events sure to woo and impress. Here are 5 events you really shouldn’t miss.
1. A Chocolate and Wine Pairing at Palmer Vineyards
5120 Sound Avenue, Riverhead
Palmer Vineyards is hosting a Chocolate and Wine Pairing with North Fork Chocolate Company on Saturday, February 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. For just $35 per person, you’ll be invited to taste five different types of wine paired with five different and distinct chocolates. 2. Wine, Chocolate, and Music! at Clovis Point
1935 Main Road, Jamesport
Clovis Point is also teaming up with North Fork Chocolate Company for a Valentine weekend celebration! On Saturday, February 11 and Sunday, February 12, enjoy live music from Ahmad Ali and TJ Brown, wine, and truffles created just for Clovis Point. Tickets are $24 per person; the event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day. Reservations are available online.
3. A Wine and Chocolate Pairing at Waters Crest Winery

Waters Crest Winery is hosting a wine and chocolate pairing with North Fork Chocolate Company on Saturday, February 11 and Sunday, February 12 from noon to 5:00 p.m. Reservations are available online.
4. Valentine’s Day Flights at Macari Vineyards
150 Bergen Avenue, Mattituck
Macari Vineyards is celebrating the second release of their sparkling Cabernet Franc “Horses” on Saturday, February 11 and Sunday, February 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They will be offering a “Special Valentine’s Day Flight,” which includes cheese, chocolate, and chips paired with two of their pink sparkling wines. Tickets are $25 per person. Reservations are available online.
5. Valentine’s Day Wine Tour with Hotel Indigo East End
1830 West Main Street, Riverhead
And finally, if you really want to escape for the weekend, Hotel Indigo East End in Riverhead is hosting a “Valentine’s Day Wine Tour” on Saturday February 11. The tour includes an overnight stay for you and your loved one at the hotel, along with wine tastings at Sparkling Pointe Vineyard and Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard, a wine and cheese pairing at the Village Cheese Shop on Love Lane, dinner at Bistro 72, and transportation.
