The weather is so cold this week, but at least one thing is keeping us warm: the first-ever winter Long Island Restaurant Week. From now through Sunday, January 29, more than 80 local restaurants are offering three-course prix fixe dinners for $27.95—and more than a few Edible East End favorites are on the list!

Here are 5 restaurants we think you should check out (this week and always):

1. Farm Country Kitchen in Riverhead

Don’t let Farm Country Kitchen’s unassuming facade fool you; this place is a gem. With a farm-to-table, seasonally driven menu that changes daily, the food here is the real attraction—though you definitely won’t complain about the view. Dine overlooking the Peconic River and marvel at the fact that you’re going to enjoy 3 courses for under $30. Viva la Long Island Restaurant Week!

2. Page at 63 Main in Sag Harbor

Right in the heart of Sag Harbor, Page at 63 Main offers Modern American cuisine with an eye towards local, seasonal ingredients. See—and taste—what’s in season while sipping some of the best craft cocktails on the East End.

3. North Fork Table & Inn in Southold

According to Zagat, North Fork Table & Inn is the best restaurant on Long Island. Isn’t it time you checked it out yourself? If you’re unsure, one look at their Restaurant Week menu should convince you. Entrée choices range from Block Island Skate to Roasted Berkshire Pork Loin; desserts from Upside-Down Caramelized Apple Tart to Coffee-Toffee Ice Cream Sundae. Sign us up!

4. Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton

Don’t pinch yourself. Thanks to Long Island Restaurant Week, you really can dine at Jean-Georges’s Topping Rose House for $27.95! Appetizer options range from Crispy Salmon Sushi (with chipotle mayo and a soy-honey sauce) to Butternut Squash Soup. Entrées range from Organic Roasted Chicken to Salmon au Poivre. Our pro tip? Save room for dessert.

5. Union Cantina in Southampton

You know, if you really put your mind to it, you can enjoy Taco Tuesday every single day! This is especially easy at Union Cantina. Their Restaurant Week menu is the most extensive we’ve seen. Diners have a choice of 8 appetizers, 13 entrées, and 3 desserts. We say: you haven’t lived until you’ve tried their snapper tacos (and you can never go wrong with fried sweet plantains).
