Tradition dictates that you celebrate your first anniversary with paper, your second with cotton, and your tenth with tin. Solé East in Montauk will break the mold this weekend, from May 19 through May 22, by celebrating its 10th anniversary with something way shinier: an entire weekend full of celebration out at The End.
An anniversary cocktail party on Saturday, May 21, will be the cornerstone of the weekend-long event. From 6:30-8:30 p.m., guests will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and a signature cocktail. Guests will also be treated to live music by Clair, Zandi Holup, The Jason Gisser Band, and Sir Cadian Rhythm.
Can’t make it on Saturday? No problem. The restaurant at Solé East will feature live music all weekend as part of the Montauk Music Festival.
“We love being a part of the community in Montauk,” says Dave Ceva, owner of Solé East. “We moved out here from the city eight years ago, and it’s just been great. We’re looking forward to many years to come.”
Fans of Solé East can also look forward to many more parties.
“This weekend’s celebrations will be the first of many,” says Ceva. “We’re really just kicking off our 10th anniversary season. We have big plans for the rest of the summer. We’ll have lots of music, comedy . . . All the things people have enjoyed at Solé East over the past ten years.”
And it all begins this weekend.
