FREE Shuttles so You Can Taste the East End

For two glorious fall weekends take advantage of free shuttle buses to visit our wineries, check out our restaurants and drink some really fresh beer. For the second year, the Long Island Wine Council and the East End Tourism Alliance provide free transportation on the South Fork on October 11 and 12, Columbus Day Weekend, and on the North Fork on November 8 and 9, preceding Veterans Day on Nov. 11.

An incredible list  of all activities, deals and specials is here.

The free “hop on-hop off” shuttle service will circulate throughout the North Fork, connecting wineries and the region’s historic hamlets. The service will provide easy access from New York City and New England with links to the Long Island Rail Road and Cross Sound Ferry in New London, Connecticut. The shuttles will start circulation at noon and end at 5:30 p.m. from the Long Island Rail Road station in Mattituck and Cross Sound Ferry terminal in Orient Point.

The second annual Taste North Fork event will include special tastings, events, discounts and live music at the wineries. Special events and offers will also be provided by hotels, bed-and-breakfasts, inns, restaurants, hamlet shops and attractions.
