Noah’s restaurant in Greenport is once again pairing up with local winemakers to present its popular Winemaker’s Dinner series, held on Sundays through the fall.
Macari Vineyards is first up, on Sept. 28. Here’s a peek at the menu: Seared local sea scallops with Orient white cauliflower puree, paired with Macari’s 2012 Chardonnay; pepper-encrusted loin of lamb with late summer vegetable ratatouille, paired with Macari’s biggest red, the 2010 Bergen Road. Winemaker Kelly Urbanik will be there to talk about the wines and the winery.
Dinners include a five-course tasting menu paired with wines from the evening’s featured vineyard. The cost is $75 per person not including tax and gratuity. The dinners will be held in the private dining room; seating is limited and reservations are required.
