Each weekend in July, Lieb Cellars has invited a local vendor to set up a “pop-up” shop in the lounge area of their East Hampton Tasting Room. The vendors will offer their hand-sourced or crafted goods. They include a handmade jewelry designer based out of New York, a hand-printed clothing company, an artisanal cheese purveyor from New York City’s Chelsea Market (who once had an East Hampton retail shop), a vintage jewelry collector who sources pieces from all over the world, a vintage clothing and art collector with a large following on the North Fork and a Southampton-based landscape photographer.
“Since we’re new to the neighborhood, we thought offering part of our space to other local businesses without their own Hamptons retail footprint would be a great opportunity for us to support the local business community and offer our customers the ability to browse while they sip,” said Lieb Cellars’ tasting room manager, Alicia Ekeler.
The pop-up schedule is:
Sunday, July 6, 3-7 p.m.: Fin Jewelry & Whalebone Creative
Friday, July 11, 12-7 p.m.: Lucy’s Whey
Sunday, July 13, 12-5 p.m.: Paige of Style
Saturday, July 19, 3-7 p.m.: The Times Vintage
Saturday, July 26, 3-7 p.m.: East End Light
The tasting room is at 26 Park Place, in the Waldbaum’s shopping center and is open daily from noon-7 p.m. Complimentary tastings will be offered during the series.
