Looking for a reason to raise your glass on this dreary first day of May? Look no further. Lieb Cellars will re-open their Mattituck Tasting Room—now, The Tasting Group—this Saturday, May 3 at noon.

The new space will serve as a tasting room for all of Lieb’s Bridge Lane wines as well as a select group of wines produced at Premium Wine Group, none of which currently have tasting rooms on the North Fork, according to Ami Opisso, Lieb’s general manager.

Visitors to the Tasting Group will find wines by the following producers: Bridge Lane Wine, Suhru WinesT’Jara Vineyards, Influence Wines, Leo Family Cellars, Bouké Wines, and Brooklyn Oenology.

The Tasting Group will be open Thursday through Sunday in May from 12 to 7 p.m., and seven days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Wines at the Tasting Group will be offered at $3 per taste, with glasses and bottles available at varying prices. Lieb will also be launching a “Monthly Wine-Ed” series, when winemakers and owners of each of the seven brands will give attendees an exclusive look inside Premium Wine Group. Classes will include Winemaking 101: From Grapes to Bottle; How to Blend Wine; How to Make Sparkling Wine; and Yeasts and Oak, among others.
