It’s that time of the week again, East Enders. It’s time to celebrate the upcoming arrival of the weekend and make some tasty plans. And, luckily for you, this week you won’t have to look very far to find some: on Saturday, May 3rd, Bridgehampton’s own Topping Rose House will host its first ever Pork & Craft Beer Festival.
“In creating this event, we wanted to focus and highlight the wonderful local breweries of the East End and pair them with great food in a fun and unique setting,” Landy F. Labadie, Director of Food & Beverage at Topping Rose House, explained. And with a menu that includes everything from Montauk Pearl Oysters to Hand-Carved Pork Belly Schwarma, the food is sure to be great indeed.
I wouldn’t worry about the beer disappointing either. Take one look at the list of participating breweries—the Montauk Brewing Company, Southampton Publick House, Great South Bay Brewery, Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, Moustache Brewing Company, Long Ireland, Crooked Ladder, and Port Jeff Brewing Company—and you’ll know you’re in for a good time.
The Pork and Craft Beer Festival at Topping Rose House (1 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton) is this Saturday, May 3rd. General admission is $100 (for access to the festival between 1 and 4 p.m.), while VIP admission is $125 (for exclusive access that begins an hour early at noon). To purchase tickets: email Mejken Poore at mpoore@craftrestaurant.com, or give her a call at (212) 400-6514.
