More than dozen East End restaurants and wineries will unite for the fourth annual Taste of Tuckahoe fundraiser to benefit Tuckahoe School. The event will be held on Friday, April 25 from 7 to 10 p.m at the 230 Elm restaurant. This year will feature a VIP hour from 6 to 7 p.m.
VIP tickets will include will include, among other perks, a cooking demonstration by Stone Creek Inn chef Christian Mir, passed hors d’oeuvres, a meet and greet with Karine Bakhoum from Iron Chef America and early access to the food and drinks at the event. All attendees will have the chance to enjoy food and drinks, music, dancing and a Chinese and silent auction.
Taste of Tuckahoe Committee member and PTO co-president Kathy Grigio says the funds raised will go toward technology, educational programs and school activities.
This year’s participants include: BOA, Backbar Grille, Brewster’s Seafood Market, Cupcake Girlz, DeJesus Deli & Grocery, Edgewater Restaurant, Krieg’s Bakery, Lobster Grille, Montauk Brewing Company, 1 North Steakhouse, Palmer Vineyards, Paul’s Italian American Restaurant, Southampton Social Club, 230 Elm, Vines & Branches, Tully’s Seafood Market and the Village Gourmet Cheese Shoppe.
Last year’s event drew more than 450 people; organizers hope to draw even more this year.

$25 in advance, $30 at the door, and can be purchased at Southrifty Drug, from committee members, or via the website, www.TasteofTuckahoe.com. VIP tickets are $50.
