Merliance, the trade group that promotes merlot and merlot-based blends as the signature wines of the region, will be hosting a wine salon on Monday, November 11, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Jamesport tasting room of Sherwood House. Another great event for Taste North Fork.
Gilles Martin, Sherwood House winemaker and technical director of Merliance, will focus on merlot, leading attendees through a tasting of merlots and blends, including examples from each Merliance member and from regions around the world that are also known for the varietal. See why these East End wines deserve more than a “Sideways” glance!
