Eat Clams, Drink Beer and Save Our Seagrass on Nov. 9

Marine Meadows, the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County eelgrass restoration group, is 2013 Save our Seagrassholding its second annual Save Our Seagrass benefit on Saturday, November 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the South Fork Natural History Museum. The money from last year’s event was used to transplant more than 5,000 shoots of eelgrass into Sag Harbor area restoration sites.
The event includes a raw bar with local oysters and clams, prepared local scallops, local beer and wine and a live band. The ticket price is $75. Buy them here.
