Thursday October 24 Page @ 63 Main in Sag Harbor is hosting an Octoberfest beer dinner: Six courses of German-inspired food paired with artisanal craft beers. Cost is $85 per person, $65 for food alone. Here is a sneak peak at what the chef is preparing:

AMUSE: Dampfnudel, Chanterelle Consommé, Baby Mustard Greens

FIRST COURSE: Beer Pretzels, Mustard Sauce, Housemade Leberwurst

SECOND COURSE: Smoked Sturgeon, Pickled Apple & Potato, Horseradish Crème Fraiche

THIRD COURSE: Autumn Harvest Root Vegetable Salad, Pumpkin, Red Leaf, Kale, Pumpkin Ale Vinaigrette

FOURTH COURSE: Niman Ranch Pork Trotter, Mustard Spaetzle, Local Mushroom Duxelles, Sweet Red Sauerkraut

FIFTH COURSE: Sauerbraten, Veal & Bacon Rouladen, Potato, Creamed Green Cabbage with Caraway, Malted Pearl Onion

SIXTH COURSE: Bienenstich, Almond Brittle, Honey Anglais
