Matt Kar the chef/co-owner at Jamesport Manor Inn is a wine guy. He’s been collecting Long Island wine for as long as anyone and there are many bargains to be found at his restaurants. But that’s part of the deal; he supports local producers. He has hosted beer dinners before and this Friday, Oct. 18, he and his chef Michael Mandleur will be laying out the food to go with the beers produced by Long Ireland Beer Company.
