We asked for it on Twitter and winemakers and vineyards hands sent them: harvest photos. Harvest 2013 has started and most wineries are working through their whites. Red grapes will probably hang until at least mid-October depending on the weather. By all accounts the white wines from 2013 will be delicious: ripe, clean and ready to be bottled by next spring. The occasional showers over the summer had little impact on the growing season, as the vines and grapes bunches were allowed to dry out in between, helped tremendously by those unseasonably hot days in the beginning of this month. Keep those photos coming.
