Meet Author Paul Greenberg of Four Fish at Dock to Dish Event on August 3

FourFish

Dock to Dish will be hosting its first member/guest event to celebrate the New York Times Best Selling book, Four Fish at Canio’s Bookstore in Sag Harbor. On hand will be the book’s James Beard award-winning writer and lifelong fisherman Paul Greenberg.

“The U.S. imports more than 90 percent of the seafood consumed in this country, and a lot of it comes from China,” says Sean Barrett, co-founder of Dock to Dish. “Paul’s book explores the many challenges we face in sourcing local, wild and sustainable seafood. He also shows us how our menus will be shaped in coming years by aquaculture, and the very limited options that consumers can expect to see listed as the catch of the day. Fascinating material, talented author and a subject everyone should pay attention to.”

Starting at 4:30 p.m. Dock to Dish members will be treated to a one-on-one discussion with Greenberg, who will talk about the history of the fish that dominate our menus–salmon, sea bass, cod and tuna–and examine where each stands at this critical moment in the health of our fisheries.

Dock to Dish members should RSVP by e-mailing Bella at Fresh@DocktoDish.com
The book signing will open to the general public at 5 p.m.
