The Peconic Land Trust and South Fork Natural History Museum will team up with scientists from Cornell University to search for more “lost ladybugs” discovered at Quail Hill Farm. Be a citizen scientist. Join the Trust at the farm to gently capture, identify and release ladybugs. All data collected is used to further Cornell University’s “Lost Ladybug Project.” Wear sunscreen and bring a digital camera if you have one. Children must be accompanied by a willing adult participant. For more information on the Lost Ladybug Project visit www.lostladybug.org.
