Lucy’s Whey will reopen its store in East Hampton today, May 3. After a few months away, we’ve refreshed our larders and our cheesemongers are ready to cut and wrap a full selection of artisanal cheeses. Starting May 3, we’ll be open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.. There’s no better time than the present to see what’s new in our case and reacquaint yourself with old favorites. Current highlights include:
- Bent River from Alemar Cheese Company (MN): Think ooey, gooey, Camembert-style goodness–redolent of mushrooms and brussels sprouts!
- Dunbarton Blue from Roelli Cheese (WI): An all-time favorite, this classic cheddar-style with elegant blue veining is tasting wonderful right now. A true American original!
- Castleton Alehouse Cheddar Crackers (VT): A new variety from one of our favorite artisans–made with horseradish mustard, these crackers add just enough zip and crunch to any cheese plate.
