Host a Slow Food ‘Snail Dinner’ in Your Own Home

Wanted: Hosts for Snail Dinners!

Want to get more involved in Slow Food? Like to entertain? Why not host a Snail Dinner? These casual potluck meals are shared by Slow Food East End members in private homes. Everyone brings a dish and a beverage, and the host often (but not always) provides the main dish. It’s a inexpensive way to get to know fellow Slow Food members and enjoy Slow Food conviviality.

A Snail Dinner (or Supper) can be any size – intimate or large – depending on your home, deck or yard. In return for a fun evening, members are asked to make a small contribution to Slow Food East End.

Hosting a Snail Dinner doesn’t take a lot of planning or preparation. If you’re interested, please contact event chair Linda Slezak at or give her a call at 631-659-3222.
