Each year Edible Communities, the national network of local food magazines of which Edible East End is a member, gives readers the opportunity to recognize all the hard work our local farmers, chefs and artisans, nonprofits, retailers and restaurants do to feed us. So across the country Edible magazines are accepting nominations/votes for these local heroes. In the past our readers on the East End have chosen to honor Satur Farms, Jeri Woodhouse at A Taste of the North Fork and the North Fork Animal Welfare League.
