Long Island Restaurant Week Extends Due to Hurricane Sandy

Certain restaurants will extend the Long Island Restaurant Week Fall 2012 campaign through Sunday, November 18. The extension comes as a result of many potential diners who continue to recover from Hurricane Sandy and others who are conserving gas. Participating restaurants will continue to offer a three-course prix fixe for $24.95 all night, every night they are open except Saturday when the menu must only be offered until 7 p.m. Diners are encouraged to call ahead to double-check with each restaurant. More than 150 restaurants have signed on including 20 from the East End, listed here. From Sunday to Sunday enjoy a three-course fixed-price dinner for $24.95 per person all night (except Saturday when it will only be offered until 7 p.m.).
