Apple picking season will start in earnest the weekend of September 15 at 10 a.m. until September 16 at 6 p.m. with the Harbes Family Farm Apple Festival. A great event for children, it will feature the Harbes’ own five acres of apple orchards, face painting, apple dunking, candied and caramel apples, as well as pony and hay rides, with wine tasting for the grown up.
