Brooklyn Brewery’s Latest to be Tapped at Townline BBQ on August 16

There’s a new beer in town. Or at least it’s coming to town at Townline BBQ on Thursday, August 16 at 6 p.m. It’s Fiat Lux from Brooklyn Brewery, “a Belgian-inspired witbier brewed with lime peel and coriander, perfect for surviving the dog days of summer.”  The brewery releases four brew-master reserves per year and Edible invites you to try the latest with us in our next installment of the Quarterly Carousel, a seasonal collaboration around beer, food and good times with like-minded beer lovers.

From 6-8 p.m., Townline will offer half pints of Brooklyn Brewery’s summer ale, lager and the new Fiat Lux for $2. Expect snacks from Mecox Bay Dairy, Horman’s Pickles and Blue Duck Bakery. Townline BBQ will also be dishing its regular happy hour bar snacks, including $2.50 hush puppies with chipotle mayonnaise, $3 TL wings with blue cheese dressing, $3 chili cheese nachos and $3 warm pretzels with mustard, in addition to $3 riblets, as well as sliders (pulled pork, pulled chicken or burnt ends) at 2 for $5.

Admission is free, but RSVP is recommended. E-mail info@edibleeastend.com with “quarterly carousal #2” in the subject line.
