And four Bedell wines got high scores: the 2010 Musée was awarded 92 points; the 2011 Taste Rosé received 90 points; the 2010 Taste Red also got 90 points and the 2010 Cabernet Franc got 90 points. The 2010 Musée ($85) is a blend of 65% merlot, 30% cabernet sauvignon, 3% petit verdot, and 2% syrah; it will be released in early 2013. The 2011 Taste Rosé ($18) is made with 60% merlot, 20% cabernet franc, 18% cabernet sauvignon and 2% syrah; 3,000 cases were made of 2011. Bedell produced 900 cases of 2010 Taste Red ($35), blend of 60% merlot, 20% syrah, 12% petit verdot, 6% cabernet franc and 2% malbec. Bedell made 800 cases of the 2010 Cabernet Franc ($35) and the wine is a blend of fruit from three different estate vineyard sites that was fermented with ambient yeasts and aged for 10 months in neutral French oak barrels.
