Seeking Fall Activity? How About Wine and Chocolate Pairing?

Comment | October 14, 2011 | By

It seems the cooler the weather gets the more the idea of wine with chocolate gets appealing. Chocolate, like most everything else, is well into its cycle of being artisanal. I like the kind with chili pepper in it. Maybe that goes with gewürztraminer just like spicy food?

Roxanne Browning, the chocolate sommelier, will be making the rounds on the East End giving her take on pairing chocolate and wine. Held at local wineries, and in one event as part of a fund-raiser, the pairings are full participation. So if chocolate’s your thing there couldn’t be a better way to spend an hour on a fall weekend afternoon.

The dates and places of the tastings are listed below.
