Peconic Land Trust Benefit Set for August 5; Country Supper at Whitecap Farm

Comment | July 11, 2012 | By

Peconic Land Trust’s 10th annual Through Farms and Fields benefit will be held on Sunday, August 5, at the Halsey Whitecap Farm on Mecox Bay in Water Mill. Through Farms and Fields celebrates the local bounty of the East End—from the amazing salad greens and vegetables of our farms, to the fresh seafood and meats from our land and sea, to the wonderful wines of our vineyards. Please join us as we celebrate all the wonders we are so fortunate to enjoy and the people who make it all happen—our farmers, our fishermen, and our winemakers.

The supper will feature local foods, prepared by Chef Peter Ambrose, and wines from Paumanok Vineyards in Aquebogue, NY.

The event starts at 5 p.m. Tickets are $3,500 for a benefactor-level table of ten and $650 for a patron-level ticket for two. Individual tickets are $275.

To learn more about Through Farms and Fields, contact either Yvette DeBow-Salsedo or Lisa Pepe at (631) 283-3195.
