After being adrift in the coffeeshop-sphere for too long, I enjoyed my first cortado at the newly-relocated Java Nation. (It was excellent.) The hangout-friendly space has exposed brick walls (a bit like Joe Art of Coffee near Union Square), the same delicious pastries, and a separate space for the booming roasting operation. “We’ve been selling a lot of beans,” said Cheryl Bedini, who roasts along with her husband Andrew.
